According to the Zhitong Finance App, Dongjian International (00329) announced the annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved profit of HK$895.48 million during the period, an increase of 192.21%; losses attributable to shareholders were HK$13.118 million, a year-on-year narrowing of 82.67%; and a basic loss of HK0.87 cents per share.
According to the announcement, the increase in earnings was mainly due to increased earnings from asset management services, wine and beverage trading, and confirmed net income of HK$9.73 million from securities trading and investment operations (2022: net loss of HK$29.06 million).
