Zhitong Finance App News, Guofu Innovation (00290) announced that the board of directors has approved a budget of HK$5 million for the Group to invest in cryptocurrencies and virtual asset funds within the next year from the date of this announcement. This budget will mainly be used to purchase cryptocurrencies (mainly including Bitcoin (BTC)) on regulated and licensed trading platforms; and to subscribe to Hong Kong compliant virtual asset funds (that is, fund managers are authorized to engage in Class 9 regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Regulations, and have been approved to invest more than 10% of the total asset value in virtual assets or indirect assets in the portfolio A virtual asset fund that invests in virtual assets).
