According to the Zhitong Finance App, Tailin Science and Construction (06193) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of RMB 245 million (same unit), a year-on-year decrease of 24.88%; the loss attributable to the company's equity holders was RMB 176.37 million, compared with profit of RMB 8.964 million for the same period last year; loss per share was RMB 0.04 million.
According to the announcement, the decline in earnings is mainly due to increased competition in the industry and the sluggish state of infrastructure and related economic activity, leading to a decline in demand for the Group's products (commercial concrete and PHC pipe piles); and the Group's prudent approach to accept orders, screen high-risk projects, and promote better risk control.
