Glonghui, March 27 | Connett Optics (02276.HK) announced that for the year ended December 31, 2023, revenue was approximately RMB 1.76 billion, an increase of approximately 12.7% over 2022. Annual profit attributable to owners of the parent company was approximately RMB 327 million, an increase of approximately 31.6% over 2022. Earnings per share were approximately RMB 0.77, an increase of approximately 32.8% over 2022. The Board of Directors has recommended the payment of a final dividend of RMB 0.20 per share (tax included) for the year ended 31 December 2023.
For the year ended December 31, 2023, the total sales volume of the company's products was about 1,588 million units, an increase of about 4.9% over 2022. The company recorded revenue growth in both the Standardized Lens Division and the Custom Lens Division. Revenue from standardized lenses and custom lenses increased by 12.9% and 16.7% respectively in 2023 compared to 2022. This increase was mainly due to increased customer orders and the appreciation of the US dollar against the RMB.
