On March 27, Gelonghui | Nanyue Holdings (01058.HK) announced that in 2023, the Group's consolidated turnover was HK$82,060,000, down 4.6% year on year. The consolidated loss attributable to the Group's shareholders was HK$66,449,000, an increase of HK$22,520,000 compared to HK$43,929,000 in the same period last year. The increase in loss of 51.3% was mainly due to a sharp increase in inventory price reduction preparations.
The total production of cowhide leather during the year was 4,613,000 square feet, down 10.9% from 5,180,000 square feet last year; gray leather production was 2,414 tons, up 441 tons from 1,973 tons last year, up 22.4%. The total sales volume of cowhide leather during the year was 6,219,000 square feet, an increase of 417,000 square feet from 5,802,000 square feet last year, an increase of 7.2%; sales of gray leather were 2,414 tons, up 441 tons from 1,973 tons last year, up 22.4%.
