According to the Zhitong Finance App, Canggang Railway (02169) announced the annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of 349 million yuan (RMB, same below), an increase of 4.68% over the previous year; profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders was 589.78 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 13.36%; basic profit per share was 0.06 yuan; it is intended to distribute a final dividend of 0.6 points per share.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to a decrease of 25.2 million yuan in railway freight revenue but an increase of 40.8 million yuan in auxiliary business revenue, which not only offset the impact of the decline in railway freight revenue, but also increased total revenue by 15.6 million yuan over the same period last year.
