According to the Zhitong Finance App, Hesheng Innovation Group (00754) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$34.292 billion during the period, an increase of 25.83%; profit attributable to shareholders was HK$2,922 million, a year-on-year decrease of 66.65%; and basic profit per share was HK$0.77.
According to the announcement, gross profit for 2023 was HK$9.496 billion (2022: HK$8.281 billion), and gross margin was 28% (2022:30%). The decline in gross margin was mainly due to the higher cost of projects delivered in the property development sector in 2023.
