According to the news, the company announced annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group's revenue was US$2.93 billion, down 9.8% year on year; profit attributable to shareholders was US$268 million, up 37.2% year on year; profit per share was 6.24 US cents; and a proposed final dividend of 1.56 cents per share. According to the announcement, the increase in profit was mainly due to 1) the reduction in impairment losses on confirmed property, plant and equipment; and 2) the change from loss to profit due to the performance of associated companies.
According to reports, in the two months ended February 29, 2024, the Group completed a cumulative total of 3103.9 gigawatt-hours of power generation this year, a decrease of 2.5% compared to 2023. Among them, China's wind power projects increased by 2.4%, China's solar energy projects increased by 14.1%, China's cogeneration and gas projects increased by 13.5%, China's hydropower projects increased by 11.2%, and South Korea's projects decreased by 13.7%.
