Gelonghui, March 26, 丨 Yimei International Holdings (01870.HK) announced its annual results. For the year ended December 31, 2023, the company's revenue was HK$192 million, up 26.40% year on year; profit during the year was HK$18.631 million, with a loss of HK$797.83 million in the same period last year; basic profit per share was HK$3.21.
In 2023, the Group's net profit from continuing operations increased from HK$12.8 million to HK$18.6 million. The increase was mainly due to (1) an increase in the Group's gross profit, (2) accelerated attribution in accordance with relevant accounting standards after the cancellation of pre-initial public offering share options, and confirmed share-based payment expenses of approximately HK$6.6 million in the year ended 31 December 2022. The Group did not record any related expenses during the year, and (3) an increase in the Group's administrative expenses due to the development of the green energy business, which partially offset the above impact.
