According to the Zhitong Finance App, Yuanmei Optoelectronics (08311) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023, with revenue of HK$124 million, a year-on-year decrease of about 59%; loss attributable to the company's equity holders was HK$19.104 million, profit of HK$4,038 million for the same period last year; basic loss per share was HK$1.29 cents.

This year, the Group's gross profit was approximately HK$15.294 million, a decrease of approximately HK$54.375 million compared to approximately HK$696.69 million in 2022. The decline in gross profit this year was mainly due to a decrease in revenue (particularly from the Group's health-related products), which had a higher gross margin compared to the Group's other major products.
