According to the Zhitong Finance App, Dongsheng Smart City Service (00265) disclosed its 2023 annual results. The company achieved revenue of HK$342 million during the reporting period, an increase of 50.85% over the previous year. Gross profit was HK$85,181 million, up 24.39% year over year. Profit attributable to the company's equity owners was HK$334.99 million, an increase of 12.3% over the previous year. Earnings per share were HK0.17 cents.
During the reporting period, the company's revenue increased 50.85% year over year, mainly driven by increased revenue from the environmental health business. Due to the year-round operation of the projects obtained in 2022 and the acquisition of additional projects from the environmental health business in 2023, the Group contributed approximately HK$147 million in revenue this year, an increase of about 261.3% over the previous year.
