The Group recently signed a non-legally binding strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Fuzhou New Area Management Committee (partner) to cooperate in the development and construction of Fuzhou Haichang Ocean Park (project).
The partner is an agency stationed by the Fujian Provincial Government. The initial planning scope of the Fuzhou New Area includes Mawei District, Cangshan District, Changle District, and part of Fuqing City, with a planned area of 800 square kilometers. The Fuzhou New Area is located in the Binhai area of Fuzhou. As the 14th national new district, it has planned five major industrial zones: the digital economy, the airport economy, the port economy, international healthcare, and the Binjiang Binhai cultural tourism industry.
According to the terms of the framework agreement, the project will introduce diverse marine organisms, polar organisms, large marine terrestrial organisms, and internationally renowned IPs to create a marine ecological experience and entertainment center integrating ecology, science, research, interaction, performance, art, specialty catering, etc., and build a new type of “eco-entertainment-experience-vacation” marine resort lifestyle with world-class planning, design, construction and operation standards. Furthermore, the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the cultural tourism industry to enhance the cultural tourism image and appeal of the Fuzhou New Area and promote the rapid development of the cultural tourism industry. Actively cooperate in the fields of design planning, product development, operation management, IP, biological resources, etc., to promote the development of the local tourism market in the Fuzhou New Area and enhance the brand awareness of the Fuzhou New Area in the tourism market.
The board of directors believes that the project will be the company's first project in Fujian Province and another milestone in the domestic theme park market.
