According to the Zhitong Finance App, Tianyuan Healthcare (00557) announced results for the year ended December 31, 2023, with a turnover of HK$45.23 million, a year-on-year decrease of 16.57%; the loss due to the company's equity holders was HK$15.484 million, a year-on-year decrease of 46.67%; and a basic loss of HK3.88 cents per share.
According to reports, in fiscal year 2023, the Group achieved a net loss of approximately HK$27 million, while in 2022, a net loss of approximately HK$40.3 million was achieved. The decrease in net loss was mainly due to an increase of HK$8.6 million in net income from the realized and unrealized valuation of financial assets that are calculated at fair value and a decrease of HK$15.9 million in administrative expenses, offset in part by an increase of HK$9.2 million in confirmed anticipated net credit losses.
