According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Smart Health (00348) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$146 million during the period, an increase of 3% over the previous year; losses due to company owners were HK$135 million, an increase of 147.92% over the previous year; and a basic loss of 17.46 HK cents per share.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was due to the net impact of the following: revenue from the investment financial instruments segment increased from a loss of about HK$1 million in FY22 to about HK$6 million in the reporting year; revenue from the Chinese Medicine Health Products segment increased from about HK$128 million in FY22 to around HK$130 million in the reporting year; and the revenue from the debt lending segment decreased from approximately HK$15 million in FY22 to approximately HK$11 million in the reporting year.
