Glonghui, March 26, 丨 Jinyong Investment (01328.HK) announced its annual results. For the year ended December 31, 2023, the Group recorded a net fair value gain of about HK$21.5 million on financial assets and liabilities recorded at fair value, while for the year ended 31 December 2022, it recorded a net fair value loss of about HK$58,367 million on financial assets and liabilities that are included in fair value. Total revenue from investment management (“IM”) services was approximately HK$22.39 million, a decrease of approximately 37% compared with approximately HK$35.272 million in 2022.
The profit attributable to the company's equity owners was approximately HK$46,393 million (2022: loss attributable to the equity owner of the company was approximately HK$33.97 million). The increase in profit was mainly due to the net fair value profit of financial assets and liabilities recorded by the Strategic Direct Investment Division in the current year and interest income from loans from similar subsidiaries recorded at fair value. Basic earnings per share were HK0.40 cents.
