According to the Zhitong Finance App, Dragon King Group (08493) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved profit of HK$104 million during the period, an increase of 31.44% over the previous year; profit attributable to company owners was HK$1,327 million; in the same period last year, company owners should have accounted for a loss of HK$5.295 million; basic profit per share was HK$0.71 cents.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to improved customer spending, easing of austerity measures, and full resumption of operations at the Group's restaurants.
