Gelonghui Group (01412.HK) announced on March 26, that for the year ended December 31, 2023, the Group's total revenue was approximately HK$1,039 million, a decrease of about 18.6% over the 2022 fiscal year. In fiscal year 2023, revenue from original equipment manufacturer sales and website sales accounted for 81.4% and 18.6% of total revenue, respectively. Profit attributable to equity shareholders of the Company was approximately HK$80.1 million, a decrease of approximately 36.8% over the year ended 31 December 2022. The company's basic earnings per share were approximately HK15.06 cents (FY2022: HK23.84 cents). It is proposed to pay a final dividend of HK8.0 cents per share for the fiscal year 2023 (FY2022: HK11.0 cents).
The US and Europe remain the Group's two major overseas markets, accounting for 83.6% and 86.1% of total revenue for fiscal year 2023 and fiscal year 2022, respectively. The decline in sales from these two markets was mainly due to the decline in OEM sales due to the above reasons. The decrease in net profit was mainly due to a decrease in OEM sales during the reporting period.
