According to the Zhitong Finance App, Grain Mill (01837) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of RMB 1,845 billion (same unit), an increase of 7% over the previous year; profit attributable to company owners was RMB 152 million, an increase of 31% over the previous year; basic profit per share was 0.071 yuan, and a final dividend of 0.0323 yuan per share was proposed.
For the year ended December 31, 2023, the absolute amount of sales revenue from the Group's offline and online channels increased compared to the year ended December 31, 2022. Among them, the offline channel business achieved significant growth, mainly due to the Group's effective implementation of the new channel business development strategy, which led to strong revenue growth in the new channel business.
The increase in online channel sales revenue is mainly due to the successful promotion of the black sesame expert brand “Black Seed”, the star product “Walnut Black Bean Sesame Powder”, the walnut expert brand “Little Genius” and dietary gift boxes; and the effective operation of traditional e-commerce channels and other social e-commerce platforms (including Douyin stores and WeChat member stores), contributing to the growth of online channel revenue.
Offline channel sales revenue as a percentage of total revenue increased slightly from 53.6% in 2022 to 54.2% in 2023, while online channel sales revenue as a percentage of total revenue declined slightly from 46.4% in 2022 to 45.8% in 2023.
