Gelonghui, March 25 | S.A.S. Dragon (01184.HK) announced that its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023 were HK$22.371 billion, a decrease of 10.4%; profit attributable to company owners was HK$404 million, up 0.9% year on year; basic profit per share was HK$64.52. The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of HK25.00 cents per share for the year ended 31 December 2023, subject to approval by shareholders at the recent Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Together with the interim dividend of HK10.00 cents per share already paid, the total dividend for the year will be HK35.00 cents (2022: HK35.00 cents per share).
In the year under review, macroeconomic environmental challenges persisted, reducing consumer demand for mobile phones and other consumer electronics products around the world. In 2023, the Group's components team recorded sales revenue of HK$22.21 billion, down 11% from the HK$24.82 billion recorded last year. In 2023, in the face of these challenges, the company successfully controlled inventory levels, working capital, operating costs, and improved cash flow management.
