According to the Zhitong Finance App, Zhongyu Land (01224) announced its 2023 results, with total revenue of about HK$473 million, a year-on-year decrease of 5.09%; net loss of approximately HK$1,937 million, a year-on-year decrease of 0.16%; and a loss of 49.9 HK cents per share.
According to the announcement, the loss was mainly due to a fair value loss of about HK$2 billion for the Group's investment properties in the UK and an increase in financing costs, both of which were due to interest rate hikes during the year.
