On March 25, Ge Longhui International (06822.HK) announced that for the year ended December 31, 2023, it achieved revenue of about HK$691 million, a year-on-year decrease of 25.3%; equity holders belonging to the company lost approximately HK$148.29 million; profit attributable to equity holders in the same period last year was approximately HK$23.248 million; basic loss per share. The directors resolved to recommend the payment of a final dividend of HK$2.0 per share for the year.
During the reporting period, the decline in earnings was mainly due to soaring inflation during the year and changes in consumer consumption habits, and no longer used high-end household utensils and drinkware products, which led to a decrease in the number of orders placed by Group customers. Furthermore, as the Group's strategy focuses more on high-quality and high-value businesses and improving the Group's sales portfolio to promote the long-term development of the Group's business, the Group's low-value business revenue and earnings have declined accordingly.
