According to the Zhitong Finance App, Anle Engineering (01977) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$6.133 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 5.28%; profit attributable to shareholders of HK$252 million, an increase of 119.54% over the previous year; basic profit per share was 18 HK cents; and plans to pay a second interim dividend of 1 HK cent per share.
According to the announcement, the Group's gross profit was HK$833.3 million (FY2022: HK$1,0115 million). Compared with the 2022 fiscal year, gross profit decreased by HK$178.2 million. The decrease was mainly due to a decrease of HK$181.4 million in profit from the building services engineering business, which was partly due to a decline in contract provisions and revenue in certain healthcare businesses.
