Gelonghui, March 25, 丨 Sinochem Fertilizer (00297.HK) announced that for the year ended December 31, 2023, the Group's turnover was RMB 21.728 billion (2022: RMB 23.03 billion), a year-on-year decrease of 5.54%; profit attributable to the company's shareholders was RMB 626 million (2022: RMB 1,117 billion), a year-on-year decrease of 43.96%, and the basic profit per share was RMB 0.0891 yuan. The Council recommended a final dividend of HK$0.0491 per share (equivalent to RMB 0.0445).
In 2023, the Group will firmly promote the implementation of the “Bio+” strategy, adhere to scientific and technological innovation, and grow the business to achieve high-quality growth. The biological compound fertilizer business uses the IPD integrated management system to continue to promote high-end large single products. The transformation of biological products is accelerated, and new products such as Lanlin, Yaxin, and Kedefeng have achieved remarkable results. By building a 6P marketing system to support product promotion, establishing an efficient procurement and marketing operation plan system, the core performance indicators reached new highs; the specialty fertilizer business accelerated the promotion of biological agents and soil health products, and further improved business quality and profitability; the plant protection and seed business gave full play to internal and external collaborative advantages, continuously optimized the product structure, and the quantitative contribution continued to grow. In 2023, the growth business achieved revenue of RMB 7.845 billion and pre-tax profit of RMB 239 million.
