According to the Zhitong Finance App, Pioneer Environment (03989) announced its 2023 results. The revenue from continuing operations was about RMB 4,077 billion (same unit), a year-on-year decrease of 11.17%; profit attributable to owners of the parent company was approximately RMB 285 million, a year-on-year decrease of 82.48%; and earnings per share were 2 points.
According to the announcement, the decline in revenue was mainly due to the company's commercial operation of several projects under construction in 2023, and a sharp drop in construction revenue. The decrease in profit was mainly due to higher earnings from the sale of the New Zealand business in 2022.
In terms of project reserves, the group has reserved a total of 68 projects in China, including 29 waste power generation projects, 5 landfill projects, 6 organic waste treatment projects, 18 cleaning, collection and treatment projects, 7 comprehensive hazardous waste treatment projects, 1 waste electrical dismantling project and 2 biomass power generation projects, with a total investment of about RMB 20.2 billion, of which RMB 17.064 billion has been invested by 31 December 2023. The total design scale is about 15.266.68 million tons of garbage to be disposed of per year, and the annual dismantling of about 1.2 million pieces of electrical and electronic equipment.
During the period, the Group's operation and trial operation projects reached 55. Among them, there are 24 waste-to-energy and biomass power generation projects, 4 landfill projects, 17 cleaning, collection and treatment projects, 1 dismantling project, 6 organic waste treatment projects, and 3 comprehensive hazardous waste treatment projects. The Group deployed according to scientific business plans, so that all key tasks were carried out in an orderly manner, achieving 9.772.21 million tons of domestic waste and 498.19 million tons of hazardous waste throughout the year. The dismantling capacity was 10.722.56 million Internet units, providing a total of 2,227 million kilowatt-hours of electricity.
