Gelonghui Holdings (02166.HK) announced on March 22, that the Group's total revenue for the year ended 31 December 2023 was HK$5.666 billion, a decrease of 43.4% over the year ended 31 December 2022. Net profit attributable to company owners was HK$71.1 million, a decrease of 56.8% over the year ended 31 December 2022. The Company's basic and diluted earnings per share were HK15.08 cents (2022:34.03 HK cents) and 15.05 HK cents (2022:33.89 HK cents), respectively. The Board of Directors decided to declare the Company's final dividend of HK5 cents per share for the year ended 31 December 2023 (2022: HK6 cents per share).
Faced with the downturn in the global consumer electronics market in 2023, shipments of electronic products generally declined, and the chip market experienced a sharp drop in volume and price due to inventory removal in the industrial chain. Combined with changes in clients, the Group's business was inevitably impacted, and revenue declined sharply.
