According to the Zhitong Finance App, Mobi Development (00947) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of RMB 641 million (same unit), a year-on-year decrease of 6.72%; losses attributable to company owners were 59,195 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 74.24%; and a loss of 7.28 points per share.
In 2023, the Group's gross profit decreased by about 9.9% to about 96.31 million yuan (2022: about 106.84 million yuan), while gross margin decreased from about 15.6% in 2022 to about 15.0%. This was mainly affected by inventory impairment. Excluding this part, gross margin increased to 16.3%, which is basically the same as the same period last year. Faced with the serious challenges of increased competition in the market, the Group is actively taking measures to strengthen cost control. In the future, the Group will continue to increase the overall gross profit margin through continuous optimization and upgrading of the product sales structure, increasing the sales share of high-tech products, and effective internal cost control. Furthermore, continuous efforts on the second curve of “communications+energy saving/new energy” are believed to be a new profit growth point for the Group in the future.
