According to the Zhitong Finance App, Kowloon Construction Industry (00034) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved operating income of HK$2,943 million, a year-on-year decrease of 35.77%; profit attributable to shareholders of HK$337 million, a year-on-year decrease of 72.25%; basic profit per share of HK$0.29; and plans to pay a final dividend of HK$0.57 per share in the form of interchange shares.
The announcement stated that in Hong Kong, China, the Group continues to sell the remaining units in its wholly-owned residential development project called Hoi Yin Manor in Tseung Kwan O. On December 31, 2023, Hain Manor sold more than 870 residential units, with sales revenue of approximately HK$1.2 billion confirmed during the year under review.
In mainland China, for the year ended 31 December 2023, the total pre-sales/sales of the Group's development projects exceeded RMB 2.5 billion, of which the Group accounted for approximately RMB 2.1 billion in pre-sales/sales based on its equity.
