On March 22, GLONGHUI | PLATT NERA (01949.HK) announced that the Group expects the net profit attributable to the company owner to be between about 5 million baht to 8 million baht in fiscal year 2023, while the net loss due to company owners is about 84 million baht in fiscal year 2022.
The expected increase in net profit for FY2023 is mainly due to (among others) the following factors: (1) higher revenue of approximately THB 296.9 million from new Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-Operations projects; (2) multiple projects made positive contributions, with gross profit of about HK$88.9 million, and gross loss of HK$35.2 million in FY2022 due to rising costs and project delays. This situation was not repeated in FY2023.
