According to the Zhitong Finance App, Western Securities International Securities (00812) announced results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained a profit of HK$31.192 million; the loss attributable to the company's equity shareholders was HK$15.943 million, a year-on-year decrease of 93.39%; and a loss of HK0.435 cents per share.
During this year, the Group's position trading turned a loss into a profit compared to the previous year, and recorded a net profit of approximately HK$25.6 million (2022: net loss of approximately HK$115 million).
