According to the Zhitong Finance App, Dongguang Chemical (01702) announced results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of RMB 2,921 billion (same unit), a year-on-year decrease of 6.7%; profit attributable to company owners was 190 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.21%; profit per share was 30.6 points, and a final dividend of HK8 cents per share was planned.

According to the announcement, the slight decrease in profit was mainly due to an increase in the Group's administrative expenses.

During the reporting period, the average sales price of the Group's urea products was about 2,189 yuan per ton, a decrease of about 8.1% compared with about 2,382 yuan per ton for the year ended 31 December 2022.
