According to the Zhitong Finance App, Huayi Financial Holdings (08123) announced the annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$150 million during the period, a decrease of 17.02%; losses attributable to shareholders were HK$15.777 million, a year-on-year decrease of 48.54%; and a basic loss of HK0.2 cents per share.
According to the announcement, the narrowing of this year's losses (compared to the same period in 2022) was mainly due to the company's profit from the sale of financial assets that included profit and loss at a fair value.
