Gelonghui, March 21丨Guowei Holdings (02239.HK) announced that according to a preliminary review of the Group's unaudited comprehensive management accounts for the year ended December 31, 2023, compared with the net profit of approximately US$57 million for the year ended December 31, 2022, the Group is expected to record a net loss of no more than US$16 million.
Losses for the year ended December 31, 2023 were mainly due to the absence of a total one-time income of about US$86 million after the sale and investment of Shenzhen Guowei Jingrui Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Guowei Jingrui Technology Co., Ltd. completed in the year ended December 31, 2022, and an increase in the Group's recorded loss on the share of invested companies due to the continued investment of the invested companies.
