According to the Zhitong Finance App, Hengwei Group Holdings (08219) announced that the Group expects to obtain a loss attributable to the company owner of not more than HK$21 million for the year ended December 31, 2023, and a loss attributable to the company owner of about HK$10.65 million for the year ended December 31, 2022.

The Board believes that the increase in losses is mainly due to the continued uncertainty of the global market, which led to a decrease in earnings from HK$273 million for the year ended 31 December 2022 to approximately HK$186 million for the year ended 31 December 2023; and an increase in bank interest rates, which led to an increase in the Group's financing costs.
