Gelonghui (00062.HK) announced on March 21, that as of December 31, 2023, profit attributable to the company's shareholders was HK$401.7 million (HK$549 million in 2022 (re-listed)). Excluding the impact of changes in fair value of investment properties and investment properties under development, the profits attributable to company shareholders in 2023 and 2022 were HK$114.3 million and HK$100.4 million respectively.
The Group's profit in 2023 was mainly derived from investment income from equity securities and rental income from investment properties. However, anticipated credit losses in a number of listed debt securities offset some of these profits.
It is recommended to pay an ordinary final dividend of HK$0.50 per share in 2023 (HK$0.50 per share in 2022), while the annual dividend is HK$0.80 per share (HK$0.50 per share in 2022).
