According to the Zhitong Finance App, Junjie Group Holdings (08188) announced the annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$550 million during the period, an increase of 24.75%; profit attributable to shareholders was HK$61.479 million, an increase of 959.25% over the previous year; basic profit per share was 12.6 HK cents; and a final dividend of HK5 cents per share was proposed.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to the increase in revenue generated by tunnel construction projects in the public sector from about HK$224 million in 2022 to about HK$325 million during the period, an increase of about 45.5%. The sharp increase in revenue was mainly due to the development of construction projects related to the Group's new contract award during the reporting period.
