According to the Zhitong Finance App, Rongke Holdings (02323) announced that the Group expects the consolidated loss amount to be reduced by about 31% to no less than HK$322 million for the year ended 31 December 2023, while the after-tax loss amount for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2022 will be approximately HK$466 million.
The Board considers that the expected losses are mainly due to the fact that individual financial assistance provided by the Group during the relevant year required impairment provisions due to overdue and additional impairment provisions for partial outstanding accounts receivable due to lawsuits relating to overdue financial support totaling approximately HK$212 million, and the Group's listed securities held at fair value that included profit and loss at fair value, caused a significant fair value loss of about HK$17.98 million due to unfavorable market price changes.
