KJTS Group Bhd, through its subsidiary KJ Technical Services Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a contract by Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Bhd (STMKB) for the replacement of the chiller system at Menara Takaful Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.
The contract also includes the provision of operation and maintenance services.
Under the terms of the contract, KJTS will receive a total payment of RM3 million for the retrofit works and RM3.6 million for the operation and maintenance services.
The retrofit works are expected to be completed by October 31, 2024, while the operation and maintenance services will continue for a period of ten years, starting from November 1, 2024.
The contract is anticipated to have a positive impact on KJTS's earnings and net assets until its expiration.
