Gelonghui, March 21, 丨 BOE Precision Electronics (00710.HK) announced that for the full year ended December 31, 2023, the Group recorded revenue of HK$10.76 billion, an increase of 0.4% over 2022. Profit attributable to shareholders was recorded at HK$475 million, down 18% from 2022. The Board recommended a final dividend of HK19.0 cents per share (2022: HK23.0 cents per share). The annual dividend payout ratio is 32% (recommended final dividend amount after settlement date/ profit attributable to company shareholders) (2022:31%).
During the year under review, profit attributable to shareholders decreased by about 18% compared to 2022, mainly due to price adjustments, additional costs such as personnel costs, depreciation of property, plant and equipment derived from production facilities (“new plant”) in Chengdu, China. At the same time, as production capacity is constantly increasing and moving towards optimization, the overall marginal cost of the product will be at a high level in 2023.
