According to the news, Hong Kong and China Gas announced annual results for the year ended the end of December last year, with a turnover of HK$56.971 billion, down 6.5% year on year; net profit of HK$6.07 billion, up 15.7% year-on-year; and earnings per share of HK$32.5 million. The final interest rate was HK23 cents, compared to HK23 cents for the same period last year. The full year dividend will remain at HK35 cents.
Furthermore, the company recently announced that it has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Shenneng Group to jointly promote green energy business development in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and at home and abroad, including increasing green methanol production capacity and developing green energy markets such as green methanol and hydrogen energy.
