Total operating income and other revenue was US$2,461 million, up 6.7% year on year; net profit of US$764 million reached a record high of US$764 million, up 3708.1% year on year; and profit per share was 1.1 US dollars. The final interest rate was 27.21 US cents, compared to 17.7 US cents for the same period last year.
Lyon said that the dividend announced by the company was a major surprise to the market. BOC Aviation Leasing's total dividend for 2023 was $0.39 per share, 25% higher than market expectations, equivalent to 35% of net operating profit after tax in 2023, which will be the highest dividend in the company's history. Lyon also anticipates that when the company's remaining Russian insurance claims are resolved, there will be more potential room for the company's dividend to rise.
