According to the news, Western Cement announced its 2023 annual results. The group obtained revenue of RMB 9.021 billion (same unit), an increase of 6.3% over the previous year; profit attributable to company owners was 421 million yuan, a decrease of 65.3% over the previous year; and plans to pay a final dividend of 0.023 yuan per share.
For the year ended 31 December 2023, revenue from aggregate and commercial concrete sales decreased by about 32.6% to $159 million due to a similar decline in the average sales price of aggregates and sales volume, respectively, and increased by about 1.6% to $720.5 million due to the net impact of a decrease in the average sales price of commercial concrete and an increase in sales volume.
