TotalEnergies (NYSE:TTE) said Monday it is partnering with Sempra Infrastructure (SRE), Engie (OTCPK:ENGIY), Mitsubishi, Osaka Gas, Tree Energy Solutions, Tokyo Gas and Toho Gas to create an international coalition that supports the development of production and use of e-natural gas.
The companies said the e-NG Coalition will support development of a reliable, affordable and sustainable way for e-natural gas, a synthetic natural gas produced from renewable hydrogen and carbon dioxide.
TotalEnergies (TTE) said it is studying the "Live Oak e-NG" project with Tree Energy Solutions to produce 100K-200K tons/year of e-NG in the U.S. by 2030.
Separately, TotalEnergies (TTE) said over the weekend that it has exceeded 1.5 GW of long-term renewable energy power purchase agreements at sites for more than 600 industrial and commercial customers worldwide.
