Zhitong Finance App News, Dragon Resources (01712) announced that the company's annual update of mineral resource volume and ore reserve estimates for its Nordic projects has been completed.
The estimated total mineral resources as at 31 December 2023 (including ore reserves - that is, ore reserves not additional to mineral resources) was 14,000 kilotons of 3.2 g/t grade gold or 1,400 thousand ounces of gold. Compared with the company's estimated total mineral resources on December 31, 2022, a decrease of 1% in tonnage and grade, and a decrease of 2% in ounces. The estimate was reported to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on March 16, 2023 - updated estimates of mineral resources and ore reserves.
The estimated total ore reserves as of 31 December 2023 is 4,200 kilotons of 2.7 g/t grade gold or 370 thousand ounces of gold. Compared with the company's total ore reserve estimate on December 31, 2022, the updated ore reserves increased by 1% in tonnage and decreased by 1% in terms of grade, and there was no change in ounces.
