Nissin Foods Holdings Co., Ltd. (President/CEO: Hiroki Ando), along with our subsidiaries Nissin Foods Co., Ltd., Nissin Foods Chilled Co., Ltd., and Nissin Foods Frozen Co., Ltd., has been certified as an “Excellent Health Management Corporation 2024 (White 500)” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council.

The “Excellent Health Management Corporation Certification System” is a system jointly hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council that honors corporations that practice particularly excellent health management.
Based on the spirit of “biken kenshoku (biken kenshoku)” (a beautiful and healthy body starts with a smart diet) advocated by founder Momofuku Ando (Momofuku Ando), the Nissin Foods Group positions the fact that all employees maintain and promote their mental and physical health, and perform their work to the fullest. Furthermore, the “Nissin Foods Group Health Management Declaration” was formulated in 2018/8, and health management is being strategically promoted.
As a specific initiative, health examinations are carried out with a number of items exceeding the statutory health checkups for the purpose of early detection and early treatment of lifestyle-related diseases. In addition, we regularly conduct employee engagement surveys and organizational improvement surveys to understand the work environment, grasp employees' mental and physical condition and work performance during employment, and conduct interviews, etc. according to the employee's situation. Furthermore, wearable devices that can track exercise, sleep, etc. are lent free of charge to employees who wish to monitor their state of exercise, sleep, etc., to support employees' self-conditioning. In addition, we launched a project in 2020 to address health issues for female employees, and we offer a number of programs that can be selected according to issues arising in the life cycle, such as seminars to deepen knowledge about menstruation and femtech, and consultation services related to fertility and careers.
These efforts were evaluated, and it was certified by the “White 500” as one of the companies that practice particularly excellent health management in the large-scale corporate division of the “Excellent Health Management Corporation 2024.”
