Gelonghui, March 15, 丨 GCL Technology (03800.HK) announced that for the year ended December 31, 2023, the Group's revenue from continuing operations was approximately RMB 33.7 billion. The Group recorded profits attributable to company owners of approximately RMB 2.51 billion from continuing operations in 2023. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations were RMB 9.47 cents.
The company's production capacity was completely transferred to granular silicon products during the year. Average production costs improved, and product sales increased. Thanks to the company's comprehensive advantages of granular silicon, the company was still able to maintain a relatively leading level of profit.
On December 31, 2023, the Group's nominal polysilicon production capacity reached 420,000 metric tons, with an effective production capacity of 340,000 metric tons, an increase of 200,000 tons over the beginning of the year. Currently, the Inner Mongolia Hohhot Xinhuan (“Xinhuan”) project is still in the process of climbing capacity, and it is expected that all production will be completed by June 2024. For the year ended December 31, 2023, the Group produced a total of 232,256 metric tons of polysilicon, an increase of 122% over 104,723 metric tons of polysilicon in the same period in 2022. Among them, granular silicon production was 203,561 metric tons, up 346% year-on-year from 45,599 metric tons in 2022.
