According to the Zhitong Finance App, Asia Energy Logistics (00351) announced its annual results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group obtained revenue of HK$144 million, up 34.84% year on year; gross profit of HK$52,841 million, up 180.95% year on year; profit attributable to company owners of HK$126.76 million, with a loss of HK$56.64 million in the same period last year; profit per share of HK$0.66 cents.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue and gross profit was mainly contributed by the increase in chartering rates for vessels and the return of operating costs to normal levels when the COVID-19 pandemic was brought under control.
