According to the Zhitong Finance App, Haina Intelligence (01645) announced that the Group expects a net loss of no more than RMB 40 million for the year ended December 31, 2023, compared with a net loss of approximately RMB 3.2 million for the year ended December 31, 2022.
According to the announcement, the expected loss is mainly due to the Group facing fierce competition in the disposable hygiene products machinery industry in China, leading to a decrease in sales revenue for adult diaper machines and baby diaper machines; mainly due to the overall rise in labor costs and rising prices of accessories imported from overseas (limited by earlier customs policies), the Group's gross margin for the year ended 31 December 2023 decreased compared to the same period last year; and impairment loss provisions for unlisted debt instruments and other accounts receivable.
