According to the Zhitong Finance App, Qianhai Health (00911) announced the results for the year ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$961 million during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 51%; the owner of the company should have accounted for a loss of HK$52.755 million during the year, a year-on-year reduction of 77.45%; the basic loss per share was 3.11 HK cents.
According to the announcement, the decline in earnings was mainly due to the decline in average selling price and sales volume. The average selling price fell below the inventory price, resulting in gross losses of approximately HK$35.6 million compared to gross profit of HK$76.5 million in the previous year.
