According to the Zhitong Finance App, Jungao Holdings (08035) issued an announcement. Compared with the profit attributable to the company owner of about HK$4.5 million for the year ended December 31, 2022, the Group expects to obtain losses attributable to the company owner of about HK$17.6 million to about HK$19.6 million for the year ended 31 December 2023.
According to the announcement, the losses attributable to company owners for the year ended 31 December 2023 were mainly due to (i) a decrease in gross profit from air freight and shipping agency services, due to the slow recovery of air tonnage and sea freight volume in the past due to the COVID-19 outbreak and economic downturn, leading to a decrease in freight charges collected from Group customers; (ii) a decrease in gross profit and gross margin of logistics and warehousing services, due to the Group's completion of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's recruitment of vaccination service packages and electronic bracelets distributed by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in January 2023; (iii) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and) loss of life insurance policy withdrawal (and iv) There are no subsidies granted by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government under the Employment Protection Scheme under the Anti-epidemic Fund for the year ended 31 December 2023.
