Gelonghui, March 13 | Global New Materials International (06616.HK) issued an announcement. Guangxi Seven Color Pearl Materials Co., Ltd. (a non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the company), Mr. Sultian (Chairman and CEO), and Mr. Zhou Fangchao (Executive Director of the company) participated in the revision of the national standard GB/T5019.5-2023 “Mica-based Insulating Materials Part 5: Hard Mica Plates for Electric Heating Equipment”. The revision was recently approved and issued by the China State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration of China to replace the original standard GB/ T5019.5-2014, and will be implemented from July 2024.
The revised standard further clarifies the product classification, general requirements, defects and conductive particles, thickness and tolerances, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply forms and standards for hard mica sheets for electric heating equipment based on peeled mica or mica paper, and strives to provide a reliable basis for the design, production, manufacture and inspection specifications of such hard mica panels, which is of great significance in promoting the quality improvement of mica insulation materials and industry development.
